Apple cake


You will need:

  • 500 grams of apple
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 225 grams of butter
  • 280 grams of sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of vanilla
  • 350 grams of flour


  1. Peel the apples and cut them into smaller pieces
  2. Pour the lemon juice over the appels and set them aside
  3. Mix sugar and butter, and add the eggs one at a time stiring in between
  4. Add the vanilla and the flour and mix well
  5. Stir in the apples and pour the batter into a tray
  6. Bake the cake at 180 C for 40-45 minutes or till a skewer comes out clean
